Job Description

VideoShops enables registered users to create their own marketplace and access a vast selection of brands without the need for approvals, inventory, or fees. Integrated with major eCommerce platforms like Shopify and Magento, VideoShops supports DTC brands in connecting their products with social commerce networks. We empower users to manage customer relationships and scale their businesses effectively.

• Develop and maintain the front-end of our application using React, Next.js, TypeScript, using modern state management solutions. 
• Translate UI/UX designs from Figma into functional front-end code, focusing on detail to achieve precise implementation of the designs every time.
• Implement complex features using modern styling, JavaScript, and React best practices.
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure the desired project scope is achieved and milestones are met efficiently.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring technical feasibility.
• Collaborate on projects from conception to launch, influencing design, UX, tooling, and architecture.

• 5+ years of frontend development experience with expertise in React.js, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js 14 using the App Router.
• Proficiency with modern state management solutions, including Zustand.
• Experience in building and maintaining design systems and reusable UI components.
• Deep understanding of front-end architecture and data-driven development.
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript, including familiarity with styling using SCSS modules.
• Proficiency with client-side performance optimization.
• Experience with modern front-end build tools like Vite, Webpack, and NPM.
• Understand commonly used UI libraries and possess the ability to develop robust, custom components independently.
• Demonstrate design and UX sensibility with attention to detail.
• Experience in responsive web development and cross-browser & cross-device compatibility issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in teams.
• Fluent in English and US-based

Nice To Haves:

• Ability to write robust, maintainable unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring the application will adhere to them.
• Proficiency in developing and integrating video players, particularly for streaming MP4s from AWS, with feature sets comparable to platforms like TikTok, YouTube, or Vimeo.
• Previous Experience writing code that is ADA & WCAG compliant. 
• Proficiency in D3 or similar libraries for creating complex, interactive data visualizations.
