Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Security and Safety: Provide on-site security for school events, ensuring the safety of students, staff, and attendees.
  • Access Control and Crowd Management: Monitor entrances, exits, and event perimeters to prevent unauthorized access and manage crowd control.
  • Travel Security and Venue Reconnaissance: Accompany the student body and staff during off-campus events, offering travel security and venue reconnaissance.
  • Emergency Response and Coordination: Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents or safety threats, and coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services.
  • Pre-Event Security Assessments: Conduct pre-event security assessments and collaborate with event organizers to implement security measures.
  • Visible Protection and Approachability: Serve as a visible and approachable presence to foster a safe and supportive environment for students and staff.
  • Incident Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed incident reports and logs, documenting security activities and observations.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Perform regular patrols during events, identifying and mitigating potential risks or hazards proactively. 
  • On-Site Threat Assessments: Identify vulnerabilities and analyze potential risks while on-site.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in relevant military, law enforcement, executive protection, event security, or personal security roles.
  • BSIS Guard Card
  • Appropriate Use of Force or Weapons of Mass Destruction Certification
  • Powers to Arrest Certification
  • First Aid, CPR, and AED for Adults, Children, and Infants
  • Demonstrates exceptional teamwork capabilities, excelling in collaborative operational environments.
  • Maintains self-reliance and proficiency in executing assigned duties with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, threat mitigation, and defensive tactics .
  • High level of physical fitness , mental resilience , and strong decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in both communication and dictation.
  • Proven conflict resolution experience with a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence .
  • Ensures clear , concise , and professional interactions in all written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated skill in creating thorough , accurate reports that document incidents, observations, and activities in support of client needs.

  • Crisis Management : Ability to lead in emergencies and provide direction to youth, families and team members.
  • Emotional Intelligence Training: Preferred candidates will have formal training in emotional intelligence, enabling them to handle high-stress situations with empathy and maintain composed, effective communication with youth, families and team members.
  • Advanced Medical Training: Certification in Tactical Combat Casualty Care ( TCCC ) or Emergency Medical Responder ( EMR ) to manage medical emergencies on-site, prioritizing client safety.
  • Unarmed Combat Proficiency: Training in self-defense and unarmed combat techniques to handle conflicts effectively when disarmed or in close quarters.


Schedule:

  • Based on Event Coverage
  • 10-hour shifts
  • 8-hour shifts
  • 6-hour shifts
