Job Summary:
The Radiology manager for Breast Imaging is responsible for 24/7 operational issues within their assigned area(s). This position is accountable for outcomes related to quality, safe, and efficient patient care.
The Radiology manager provides direct clinical and managerial leadership for personnel within their assigned work unit(s). In addition, this position provides leadership support as needed for all other Radiology personnel. This position is accountable for patient satisfaction and staff engagement. The Radiology manager serves as the facilitator regarding all matters for their unit(s) both inter and intra departmentally. This position ensures compliance with clinical protocols, accreditation, regulatory and reimbursement agency requirements. This position will support and contribute to meeting goals set forth by unit, department, and UK HealthCare. IEBC (Internal Employee Being Considered.)Skills /Knowledge/Abilities:
Microsoft Office, Kronos, PACS , RIS , Lean processes

Required Education:
BS
Required Related Experience:
5 yrs
Required License/Registration/Certification :
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ( ARRT ) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography ( ARDMS ) or Registered Nuclear Med Tech. Kentucky State Radiation Operators License if applicable. Basic Life Support ( BLS ) required within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Education/Experience:
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of leadership experience in the Radiology space.
