FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary The Project Manager Renewable Energy (RE) will be primarily focused on the project planning, execution, and reporting of both development and product upgrade projects for the Renewable Energy business segment. The Project Manager RE will be the principal authority for project timeline, milestone definition, progress tracking and customer notifications via Field Sales Engineers (FSE), Product Management, and Business Development Managers (BDM). The project Manager will work across multiple departments to plan Projects, develop scope/budget/timelines, and track/execute the project plan through regular meetings and reporting cycles. The Project Manager RE's performance will be judged by how well they keep their projects on scope, on time, and on budget, as well as how they handle getting projects back on track when things go wrong or unforeseen issues arise.
The Product Manager RE will have the challenge of interfacing with RE-dedicated resources, such as Engineering and Sales, as well as matrix-allocated resources such as Quality and Operations. The Product Manager RE will report directly to the Head of Project Management for North America.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Project scope development with the aid of the Sales Manager RE, Product Management, and Engineering.
- Managing all high complexity or high value RE projects via Gantt Chart applications such as MS Project, Monday.com, or Genius.
- Coordination of multiple departments as required for project kick-off, work packet development and project timeline, execution, closing, and lessons learned.
- Regular reporting and dashboarding of projects for review by management and relevant team members.
- Develop tracking system for all projects, including projects identified, completed, lost and failure mode.
- Maintain database including application type, market segment and geographical regions (Sales Districts).
- Utilize the Staubli Stage Gate Process for project flow and advancement. Fill out, file, and if needed create project-related forms and documents to formally record project vitals and gain sign-off for stage completion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and opportunity identification.
- Work with Regional Managers and Specialists for strategy coordination.
- Submit required paperwork on required dates, including call reports and expense reports.

Education and/or Experience A college Bachelor's degree of Science, ideally in Engineering or a Technology discipline.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
3+ years' experience in Project Management and running project plans.
Experience in the Renewable Energy business segment is a plus
Experience with products involving regulatory requirements, injection molding, and/or metal stamping is a plus
Travel Minimal travel for training and/or educational purposes
