Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate healthcare provider to join our team, specializing in the outpatient treatment of individuals with substance use disorders (SUD) and co-occurring mental health conditions. This role involves diagnosing and prescribing Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) as well as psychotropic medications for those with complex needs. You will play a key role in supporting patients on their recovery journey, providing long-term remission monitoring for those in early or sustained remission, and offering recovery management follow-ups. You will also assist in reengaging patients who may need additional support. The role includes admissions of new patients, follow-up evaluations, and ensuring comprehensive documentation.

This is a part-time, remote position, with a gradually increasing caseload. The expected hours for the first month are 35.5 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide outpatient care, including diagnosing and prescribing MAT (e.g., Suboxone, buprenorphine) and psychotropic medications for co-occurring mental health conditions.
Monitor long-term remission for MAT patients, particularly those in early and sustained recovery, with a focus on co-occurring mental health needs.
Engage in recovery management follow-ups and work to reengage patients in care when needed.
Conduct admissions of new patients and follow-up evaluations as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records, including patient assessments, medical histories, prescribed medications, lab results, allergies, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Offer care and support in a virtual setting, no travel required.
Qualifications:

Licensed or eligible for licensure in Idaho.
Licensed by the Idaho Board of Pharmacy.
Active DEA License.
Compassionate and patient-centered, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
Experience in telehealth or remote care settings is preferred.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and chronic disease management.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate patients effectively in virtual care environments.
Comfortable prescribing MAT medications (e.g., Suboxone, buprenorphine) and psychotropic medications for mental health conditions.
