Job Title – Position Description: Interventional Radiology Manager
Reports to: VP, ASC Operations
MISSION
The Interventional Radiology Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the department and patient care. They will manage team members, assist with staff scheduling, and consult with physicians and Area Director on clinical problems to ensure patient needs are met. Additionally, they will coordinate and direct patient care to ensure patients’ needs are met and facility policies and procedures are followed. The Interventional Radiology Manager will also be responsible for assisting staff in preparing patients for procedures, administration of sedation and monitoring, and/or recovering a patient from the procedure depending on daily assignment.

- Monitor inventory of department supplies and ensure that established stock levels are met, and supplies are replenished as necessary.
- Administration of sedative agents to ensure the patient is comfortable during procedure in accordance with physician orders.
- Build and manage an engaged productive team in a positive and motivating work environment by effectively resolving internal conflict, providing policies and procedures guidance, and unifying employees towards one common goal.
- Relay consistent feedback and coaching regarding performance and provide relevant training and in-service education opportunities to ensure necessary improvement and standards are met.

QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing
Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience:
- 2 years of nursing management experience
- 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath lab setting
Credentials/Licensures:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Georgia OR
- Current Compact Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Georgia
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience:
- 2 years in Interventional Radiology or Cath lab setting
- Previous work experience in Interventional Radiology operations, which includes patient flow and quality and safety
- Intermediate computer skills (familiarity with EMR system functionality)
Credentials/Licensures
- Current CSRN Certification is a plus
