Job Responsibilities: Years of Experience: (6-8 years)
1) Design and implement data lineage solutions using IBM Manta Data Lineage to track data flow and transformations across various systems.
2) Automate the scanning and mapping of data flows to provide detailed views of data pipelines.
3) Ensure data lineage solutions comply with regulatory requirements and help mitigate data-related risks.
4) Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure accurate data lineage.
5) Maintain comprehensive documentation of data lineage processes and methodologies.
6) Continuously monitor and optimize data lineage processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management, with a focus on data lineage.
Hands-on experience with IBM Manta Data Lineage or similar tools.
Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality principles.
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
Experience with ETL processes and tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
